The body doesn't have separate departments.
The nervous, endocrine, immune, and gut microbiome systems are in constant conversation with each other — and with the mind. I work from that dialogue to help you restore real balance, not just treat the symptom.
Psychoneuroimmunology studies how thoughts, hormones, immune defenses, and gut bacteria converse within a single circuit. Integrative medicine takes that evidence and translates it into real support: a plan that cares for the body, regulates the nervous system, and makes room for awareness.
Four systems, one dialogue
No symptom lives in isolation. Here's how each system influences — and is influenced by — the others.
Nervous System
Interprets the environment and switches the stress response on or off. Its tone (sympathetic/parasympathetic) directly shapes hormone secretion and immune activity.
Endocrine System
Cortisol, adrenaline, oxytocin, thyroid hormones: chemical messengers the brain orders released, which in turn modulate mood and immune response.
Immune System
It doesn't just defend: it talks to the brain through cytokines, influencing mood, sleep, and the perception of fatigue or pain.
Gut Microbiome
The gut ecosystem takes part in synthesizing neurotransmitters, trains the immune system, and communicates with the brain via the vagus nerve.
What you think, your body secretes
The way we interpret a situation — even before we react — sets the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in motion and modulates the release of cortisol, dopamine, and serotonin. Research in contemplative neuroscience shows that sustained attention and emotional-regulation practices can reshape these secretion patterns over time.
Working on your relationship with your own thoughts, then, isn't a "mental" add-on: it's a direct physiological intervention on the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems.
Your microbiome shapes how you feel
About 90% of the body's serotonin is produced in the gut. Gut bacteria train the immune system, synthesize neurotransmitter precursors, and communicate with the brain via the vagus nerve and immune messengers.
An unbalanced gut can sustain low-grade inflammation and affect mood; a nervous system stuck in chronic alert, in turn, alters the composition of the microbiome. It's a two-way circuit, and that's how it should be addressed.
Body, mind, and awareness aligned
No protocol sustains change without conscious effort as well. Balance isn't prescribed: it's cultivated.
Body
Physiology, nutrition, movement, and rest as the biological foundation that sustains everything else.
Mind
Thought, attention, and emotional regulation as levers that shape physiology, not something separate from it.
Awareness
The space from which you choose, sustain the process, and integrate change into daily life.
"It's not about fighting a symptom. It's about listening to an entire system that has long been asking for balance."

Four areas where a psychoneuroimmune and integrative lens makes a clear difference in everyday life.
When diagnosis comes late
Celiac disease often shows up through subtle signs — fatigue, anemia, migraines, mood changes — that delay diagnosis for years. I support both the nutritional and immune side of the process, before and after detection.
Free guide: warning signs in late celiac disease diagnosis.
Understand what's happening to you
Hot flashes, insomnia, mood swings, or brain fog aren't "just aging": they respond to a hormonal reorganization that can be supported. Take the quick self-check and find out where you stand.
This check is for guidance only and doesn't replace a professional assessment. It's meant as a starting point for our conversation in consultation.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: the metabolic angle
Current science places insulin resistance at the center of many PCOS cases, beyond a purely hormonal view. I work on nutrition, movement, and stress regulation with that metabolic lens.
Thyroid health and the immune-nervous axis
Many thyroid disorders — like Hashimoto's — are autoimmune in origin and closely tied to sustained stress and gut health. Integrative follow-up works alongside your endocrinologist, not in place of them.

Ways to work together
Every process starts with an initial assessment and adapts to what your system needs at each stage.

Book →My path to an integrative outlook
After becoming a mother of three in a short span of time, my body started sending me signals I didn't know how to read at first: fatigue, mood changes, and an immune system that stopped responding the way it used to. Conventional tests couldn't find a clear explanation, until the diagnoses came: sustained stress, several food intolerances, and autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto's, celiac disease, and psoriatic arthritis.
That personal process led me to train in depth in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (PNIE), integrative nutrition, health coaching, and naturopathy. Today I support other people, from Barcelona and online, in reading their body's signals before they become a diagnosis, integrating nutrition, lifestyle habits, stress management, and microbiome care.
